How to request information

General
While some information can be transmitted immediately, confidential matters will be dealt with via mail. However, should you require such information, we will need a formal written request from the policyholder.

To speed up this process, kindly provide the following:

  • Your name (or that of the life insured)
  • Date of birth
  • Policy number (if available)
  • Contact details

Call at any of our counters
Our counters are located throughout Mauritius where a Customer Service Representative will assist you in completing a brief request form. You will be asked to produce your National Identity Card.

I - Product Development

Individual Life Business
By monitoring market trends, keeping abreast of the latest developments (locally and overseas) in the individual life assurance sector, we have developed a range of products to better match our clients' needs. These products have set the standard in their respective market segment and include, amongst others, Cash Back Money Plus, A-Plus Educational Plan, Super Saver Endowment Plan, BA Lady, Platinum Account, Super Cash Back Gold, HealthSense Diabetes Cover.

Group Business - Group Insurance
Our actuarial technical know-how is not limited to individual life insurance business only. We work with business organisations (small or large) to develop financial packages that help boost their financial and corporate structure in terms of recommending appropriate life, disability or critical illness cover for their employees and setting up/administering pension schemes.

In addition to carrying out monthly valuation of our local insurance portfolio, our expertise is also called upon to service other companies in the group, including BA Kenya whose portfolio is also valued on a monthly basis.
