J. Nicholas Ashford-Hodges, born in 1950, is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and holds an honours degree in Engineering Science from Oxford University. He was appointed director to the Board in October 1999. He is president of British American (UK) Ltd, a United Kingdom based representative office for the British American Investment Group of Companies. He is also a member of the board of British American Investment Co (Mtius) Ltd and several subsidiary boards of the British American Group and its sub-committees.

Saleem R. Beebeejaun, born in 1965, is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Insurance. He is the Group Chief Executive Officer of British American Investment Co. (Mtius) Ltd and was appointed director to the Board in 2005. He is also a member of other boards and sub-committees of the British American Investment Group. He was the President of the Insurers Association from 2003 to 2005.

Mahmad A. Rawat was appointed to the Board in July 2004. He has a background in Marketing and Information Technology having worked in the United Kingdom for British Gas, QCA (an agency of the Department of Education) and Anderson Hughes (a subsidiary of P & O). He is a non-executive director of British American (UK) Ltd.

Ian Zammit was appointed to the Board in July 2004. He is an associate of the Chartered Institute of Insurance (ACII) and has headed the British American Insurance Co. (Mtius) Ltd agency in Malta for many years. He also sits on several subsidiary boards of the British American Investment Group.

William C. Van Buren was appointed to the Board in January 2005. He is a certified public accountant and auditor and is presently head of Financial Services of the British American Investment Group. He spent a number of years in the auditing profession before joining the Archdiocese of Malta as Financial Controller. He formerly held the post of Finance Director and Chief Executive Officer of Globe Financial Management Limited.
